Car
From the center of High Plains, head north on Highway 287. Continue on this road for approximately 15 miles until you reach the town of Wellington. As you enter Wellington, turn left onto East Cleveland Avenue. Follow this road until it intersects with Rawhide Flats Road. Turn right onto Rawhide Flats Road and continue for about 3 miles. Soapstone Prairie Natural Area will be on your left at 22998 Rawhide Flats Road, Wellington, CO 80549. There is no entrance fee for the park.
