From Aspen Highlands, transfer to the Maroon Bells shuttle. Reservations are required for the shuttle and cost $16 for adults and $10 for seniors (65+) and children under 12. The shuttle drops you off at Maroon Lake, where the West Maroon Creek Trail begins. Parking at Aspen Highlands is available for a fee of $8/hour, with a daily maximum of $42 on weekdays and $48 on weekends.

    To drive to West Maroon Creek, follow Highway 82 to the roundabout on the west edge of Aspen. Take the Maroon Creek Road exit and follow it to the Maroon Bells Welcome Station. A parking reservation is required from May 15 to October 31 and costs $10 per vehicle. Private vehicles are restricted from 8 AM to 5 PM, during which time you must take the shuttle from Aspen Highlands. If arriving before 8 AM or after 5 PM, you can drive to Maroon Lake, where the West Maroon Creek Trail begins, with a parking reservation.
