Car
If you are driving, begin at the Mesa Verde Visitor Center located at 1800 Anasazi Rd, Cortez, CO 81321. From the Visitor Center, take CO-10 W (Mesa Verde Scenic Rd) into the park. Continue on the road for approximately 21 miles. Follow the signs for Far View Sites, and take a left turn at the junction towards Far View House. After a short drive, you will reach the parking area for Far View House. Make sure to arrive before 5 PM, as that is when the site closes.

Currently, there is limited public transportation available directly into Mesa Verde National Park. The nearest bus service is in Cortez, CO. From Cortez, you can take a taxi or rideshare to the Mesa Verde Visitor Center (approximately 10 miles). Once at the Visitor Center, you will need to rent a car or arrange for a tour that includes transportation to Far View House, as public transport does not reach the archaeological site directly.

If you are already in the vicinity of Far View House and are looking for a hiking option, there are trails that lead to the site from nearby locations, such as the Far View Lodge.
