Continue on the road for approximately 21 miles. Follow the signs for Far View Sites, and take a left turn at the junction towards Far View House. After a short drive, you will reach the parking area for Far View House. Make sure to arrive before 5 PM, as that is when the site closes.

    Currently, there is limited public transportation available directly into Mesa Verde National Park. The nearest bus service is in Cortez, CO. From Cortez, you can take a taxi or rideshare to the Mesa Verde Visitor Center (approximately 10 miles).
