Bicycle
Start your journey at the center of Monument, Colorado. Head south on Beacon Lite Rd until you reach the intersection with the main road (I-25). Take a left onto I-25 South. Continue on I-25 for about 30 miles. Take exit 135 for US-50 W toward Cañon City. Follow US-50 W for approximately 50 miles. You will pass through the towns of Cañon City and then Salida. Once in Salida, continue west on US-50 for another 10 miles, until you see signs for Browns Canyon National Monument. Follow the signs to the entrance.

Public Transport
Begin at the Monument Town Center and walk to the nearest bus stop. Board the public bus that travels south towards Colorado Springs. Once in Colorado Springs, transfer to a bus heading to Salida. This route may require changes, so check the schedule ahead of time. Upon reaching Salida, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Browns Canyon National Monument, which is about a 10-mile drive from Salida.

While walking the entire distance to Browns Canyon National Monument is not feasible, you can take a scenic walk around Monument and utilize public transport or biking to complete your journey. Start from Monument and walk to the nearest bus stop to catch a ride towards Colorado Springs, then follow the public transport instructions to Salida and continue from there.
