Turn left onto Quandary Peak Road and follow it for about 1.5 miles to the trailhead parking area. There is a parking fee of $5, which can be paid at the trailhead.

  • Car from Denver

    From Denver, take I-70 W towards Glenwood Springs. Merge onto CO-91 S towards Leadville. Continue on CO-91 S until you reach the intersection with CO-9. Turn left onto CO-9 N and follow it for about 17 miles to Quandary Peak Road. Turn right onto Quandary Peak Road and continue for approximately 1.5 miles to the trailhead parking area, where a $5 parking fee applies.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Quandary Peak using public transportation, take the Bustang service from Denver to Breckenridge. Once you arrive in Breckenridge, you can use local taxi services or rideshare apps to reach the Quandary Peak trailhead. The taxi ride from Breckenridge to the trailhead is about 15 minutes and will cost approximately $25-$30.
