From Denver, take the Bustang, Pegasus, or Outrider bus to Idaho Springs. From the Idaho Springs bus stop, take a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to the Phoenix Gold Mine. The distance is about 2 miles, and the ride should cost approximately $10-$15. Check the bus schedule for accurate timing. Uber and Lyft are available in Idaho Springs, but it may be difficult to locate cars. Consider coordinating a return service with Bustang.
