From Danbury, head to the Danbury Transit Center located at 1 Patriot Drive. Take the Metro-North Railroad train to Beacon Station. Once you arrive at Beacon Station, exit the station and board the Hudson Link Bus (Route 1) towards Fishkill. Get off at the Fishkill Village Stop. From there, you can walk to The Mt. Beacon Eight by heading north on Route 9D. It is about a 25-minute walk along the scenic route.

Start at the Danbury Train Station on Patriot Drive. Take the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal and change at the Poughkeepsie Station. From Poughkeepsie, take the Metro-North Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal and get off at Beacon Station. After exiting the station, you can walk north on Main Street and then take Route 9D towards Fishkill for approximately 2 miles until you reach The Mt. Beacon Eight.
