From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Metro-North train station located at 2 Railroad Ave. Purchase a ticket for a New York City-bound train, specifically towards Grand Central Terminal. Board the train and travel approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit.

Once you have exited Grand Central Terminal, walk to the nearby 42nd Street-Bryant Park subway station. Take the B or D train downtown (toward Brooklyn) and get off at the 34th Street-Herald Square station. Transfer to the N, Q, R, or W train and head uptown to the 59th Street-Lexington Avenue station.

From the 59th Street-Lexington Avenue subway station, exit the station and head east on 59th Street towards Park Avenue. Turn left onto Park Avenue and continue until you reach 79th Street. Turn right onto 79th Street and walk for about 5 blocks until you arrive at 2 E 79th St, the Ukrainian Institute of America.
