From Stamford, head to the Stamford Train Station. You can take a Metro-North train on the New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit. After exiting, walk towards 5th Avenue and take a right. Continue walking north until you reach Central Park South. Turn left and enter Central Park. The Central Park Zoo is located towards the east side of the park, just a short walk in.
