Getting There

  • Subway

    From Stamford, head to the Stamford Transportation Center located at 30 Station Pl. Take the Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Ride the train for approximately 50 minutes until you reach the 125th Street Station in Manhattan. Exit the train and follow the signs to the subway. Take the A train from 125th Street Station towards Inwood-207th Street. Ride the A train for about 10 stops and get off at the 190th Street Station. After exiting the station, head southwest on Fort Washington Avenue and turn right onto Center Path. The Heather Garden will be on your left.

    From Stamford, walk to the Stamford Transportation Center. Take the CT Transit bus route 10 towards Norwalk. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the Norwalk Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Metro-North Railroad and take the New Haven Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street Station in Manhattan. Once you exit the train, take the A train from 125th Street Station towards Inwood-207th Street. After 10 stops, get off at the 190th Street Station. Exit the station and walk southwest on Fort Washington Avenue, then turn right onto Center Path where you'll find the Heather Garden on your left.
