Walking
From the Stamford train station, exit the station and head southwest on Atlantic Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and walk until you reach the corner with Washington Boulevard. Turn left onto Washington Boulevard and walk towards the waterfront. Continue until you reach the intersection with Harbor Drive. Cross the street and follow Harbor Drive until you reach the Stamford Harbor waterfront park. From there, you can enjoy a walk along the shoreline, which will lead you to the South End of Stamford.

Public Transit
From Stamford train station, take the Metro-North Railroad towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street station. From there, transfer to the M60 bus towards LaGuardia Airport. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at West 106th Street and Central Park West. Walk south along Central Park West until you reach the entrance to Strawberry Fields, which is located at the west side of Central Park, across from the Dakota Building.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs in Stamford. Start at the Stamford train station and head south on Atlantic Street. Follow the bike paths along the waterfront, making your way towards the South End. Keep following the waterfront bike paths until you reach the nearest train station, where you can catch a train to New York City. Once in New York, continue biking towards Central Park. Follow the bike lanes until you reach the entrance to Strawberry Fields.
