Train
From Stamford, head to the Stamford Train Station located at 30 Station Place. Board a Metro-North train on the New Haven Line heading towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow signs to the main concourse and exit the station onto 42nd Street.
Subway
After exiting Grand Central, walk west along 42nd Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with 8th Avenue. Here, you can catch the subway by entering the 42nd Street/Times Square subway station. Take the 1, 2, or 3 train heading downtown. Get off at the 42nd Street/Times Square station, which is just one stop away. From there, exit the station and walk 3 blocks west on 45th Street to reach The Lion King at 200 W 45th St.
Bus
From Stamford, you can also take a Greyhound or Megabus to New York City. Check the schedule to ensure you have a ticket to the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, exit the terminal and walk east on 42nd Street for about 10 minutes. Turn right onto 8th Avenue and walk one block to 45th Street, where you will find The Lion King at 200 W 45th St.
Walking
If you are already in downtown Stamford, you can walk to The Lion King by heading towards the Stamford Train Station, which is a central location. From there, follow the directions for taking the train or bus as mentioned above. Alternatively, you can use a rideshare app for a more direct route if you prefer not to use public transit.
