Train
From Stamford, head to the Stamford Transportation Center located at 30 Station Pl, Stamford, CT 06902. You can walk there from many hotels in downtown Stamford or take a local bus. Once at the train station, purchase a ticket for a Metro-North train heading towards Grand Central Terminal, Manhattan. The journey typically takes about 50 minutes. Disembark at Grand Central Terminal. From Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit and head towards the east side of the street.

Subway
Once you are at Grand Central Terminal, head to the subway station located within the terminal. Take the S (Shuttle) train to Times Square-42nd Street. Transfer to the 1, 2, or 3 subway lines and take it downtown towards the 42nd Street station. Get off at 59th Street-Columbus Circle. From there, walk east on Central Park South for about 5 minutes until you reach Wollman Rink, located at the south end of Central Park.

Alternatively, after arriving at Grand Central Terminal, you can catch the M1 or M2 bus from 42nd Street. These buses will take you towards Central Park South. Get off at the stop at 59th Street & 6th Avenue. From there, walk east towards Central Park. Wollman Rink is a short walk away.

If you prefer to walk, from Grand Central Terminal, head west on 42nd Street until you reach 5th Avenue. Turn right on 5th Avenue and continue walking north until you reach Central Park South. Turn left and proceed east for about 3 blocks to reach Wollman Rink.
