Getting There

Walking
From the center of Nikao, head east towards the main road (Ara Tapu). Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Avarua Road. Turn left onto Avarua Road and walk north. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Keep walking until you reach the junction with Maire Nui Drive. Turn right onto Maire Nui Drive and continue walking until you reach the Cook Islands Tourism Corporation located at 14 Maire Nui Drive, Avarua. The center will be on your left side.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Nikao and ride east towards Ara Tapu. Once you reach Ara Tapu, turn left and ride along the main road in the direction of Avarua.
