Public Transport
From San José, take a bus to San Isidro de Heredia. From there, take a taxi to the park's entrance. The bus fare is approximately $1-2, and the taxi ride will cost around $45-65. The total travel time is about 49 minutes.

From San José, take Calle 3, which becomes the Guápiles Highway (Route 32) northeast. The Zurquí ranger station is on the right, just north of the tunnel. The drive takes approximately 38 minutes and covers about 37 kilometers. Be prepared for potential tolls on the highway, costing around $4-8. Parking is available at the ranger station.
