Getting There

Walking
To reach Faro Travel Costa Rica from the center of La Fortuna, start at the main square (Parque de La Fortuna). Head northwest on Avenida 1 until you reach the intersection with Calle 502. Turn left onto Calle 502 and continue walking for about 1 km until you reach the junction with Route 142. At this junction, look for signs indicating buses to Monteverde or Santa Elena. Follow the signs to the bus stop located on your right, and board a bus heading to Monteverde. The bus will take you through scenic routes, and the journey will take approximately 3 to 4 hours.

From La Fortuna, go to the main bus terminal located near the center of town. Look for the bus labeled 'Monteverde' or 'Santa Elena'. The bus departs regularly throughout the day, usually starting around 6 AM. Purchase your ticket from the bus station or directly from the driver. Once you board the bus, enjoy the journey which takes about 3 to 4 hours. The bus will drop you off in Santa Elena. From the bus stop, Faro Travel Costa Rica is located about a 10-minute walk away. Head southwest on the main road (Calle 3) until you reach your destination.

Shared Shuttle
For a more comfortable option, consider booking a shared shuttle service from La Fortuna to Monteverde. You can reserve a spot with local tour agencies in La Fortuna. These shuttles typically provide door-to-door service. They will pick you up from your accommodation in La Fortuna and take you directly to Faro Travel Costa Rica. The entire trip lasts around 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Make sure to confirm the pick-up time a day in advance.
