Catarata del Toro is located near Bajos del Toro, approximately 1.5-2 hours from San Jose and 2 hours from La Fortuna. From Route 140, turn onto Route 708 towards Bajos del Toro. The road is paved but can be winding and have potholes, so drive carefully. Free parking is available at the entrance to the reserve.

From Zarcero, a taxi to Bajos del Toro could cost around 15,000 colones (approximately $26 USD) and take about 40 minutes. Uber is also an option from Grecia. Keep in mind that availability may be limited in these smaller towns.
