Once in Santa Elena, locate Pulpería la Valencia; Kinkara is 100 meters north. Car rentals are available at Juan Santamaría Airport (SJO). Expect to pay around $30-$60 per day for a standard car rental. Parking is free at Kinkara.

Take a bus from San José to San Isidro de El General. Buses depart from San José and cost around $4. From San Isidro, transfer to a local bus heading to Santa Elena for approximately ₡1,000. Kinkara is 100 meters north of Pulpería la Valencia in Santa Elena. The bus from San Jose to Santa Elena is approximately $4 USD.

From Quepos, a taxi or rideshare to Kinkara Luxury Retreat will cost approximately ₡30,000 to ₡40,000 and take about an hour. Taxis are readily available in San Isidro del General. A taxi from San Isidro to Kinkara will cost approximately $20-$30.
