From the center of Pérez Zeledón, head southeast on Route 2 (Interamericana Sur) for about 20 km until you reach the entrance to Chirripó National Park, marked by a sign. Turn left onto the road leading to the park entrance. After approximately 5 km, you will find the parking area near the 'Entrada al sendero Parque Nacional Chirripo'. Make sure to have cash for the entrance fee, which is usually around $10 per person.

To reach 'Entrada al sendero Parque Nacional Chirripo' using public transportation, first, take a bus from San José to Pérez Zeledón. The journey takes about 3-4 hours.
