Getting There

  • Driving

    From Turrialba, head northeast on Calle 1 until you reach Route 10. Turn left onto Route 10 (Turrialba-Cartago Road) and continue for approximately 9 kilometers. Look for a sign for 'Catarata Las Trillizas' and turn right onto an unnamed road. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers to the reception area. Parking is available on-site. Be aware that the last 1.4 kilometers are on a gravel road, and a 4x4 vehicle is recommended during the rainy season. There is no parking fee.

  • Public Transport

    From Turrialba, take a bus to La Suiza from the main bus terminal. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 1,000 CRC. From La Suiza, take a taxi to Catarata Las Trillizas, which is about 5 kilometers away and should cost around 3,000 CRC. Confirm the taxi fare before starting your journey.

  • Walking

    If you are already in La Suiza, you can walk to Catarata Las Trillizas. Head towards the unnamed road that leads to the falls. The walk is about 5 kilometers and may take 1 to 1.5 hours. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
