Rafting
The most common and exciting way to arrive at Pacuare Lodge is via a rafting trip down the Pacuare River. This adventure typically begins with a pickup in San José, followed by a drive to the river put-in point. From there, experienced guides will lead you on a thrilling journey through class II, III, and IV rapids, surrounded by lush rainforest scenery. The rafting trip to the lodge takes approximately 1.5 hours. This cost is typically included in the lodge's full experience package.

Land Transportation
For those who prefer not to raft, Pacuare Lodge offers land transportation. This involves a 4x4 vehicle that travels through the countryside to the banks of the Pacuare River. Guests then cross the river via a hanging gondola. On the other side, an electric golf cart will transport you to the lodge. This option also typically included in the lodge's full experience package.
