    To reach Etapa 6 via public transport, begin at the Sarapiquí bus terminal. Take a bus to Turrialba, a 1.5 to 2-hour journey. Upon arrival in Turrialba, transfer to a local bus or taxi towards El Carmen. Local buses may have infrequent schedules, so check in advance. A taxi should cost around $10-15 USD to V95J+QQJ, Provincia de Cartago, Turrialba, El Carmen.

    If driving from Sarapiquí, head south on Route 4 (Carretera a La Virgen) towards Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí for about 30 kilometers. Turn left onto Route 32 (Carretera Braulio Carrillo) for 15 kilometers, then take the exit for Route 10 towards Turrialba. After 25 kilometers, follow signs to El Carmen and V95J+QQJ, Provincia de Cartago, Turrialba, El Carmen. Ensure you have GPS or a map for final directions. Note that roads may be winding.
