From Blackbird State Forest, head east on Blackbird Forest Rd toward DE-1. Turn left onto DE-1 N and continue for approximately 7 miles. Take exit 156 for DE-273 toward New Castle. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for DE-273 W, and merge onto DE-273 W. Continue straight for about 4 miles. Turn left onto Delaware St. The New Castle Court House Museum will be on your right at 211 Delaware St, New Castle, DE 19720. Parking is available in the vicinity, but please check for any parking fees.

Starting from Blackbird State Forest, you will need to get to the nearest bus stop that services the area. The closest major bus service is located in Dover. You can take a rideshare or taxi to Dover Transit Center. From the Transit Center, take the DART First State bus Route 40 heading toward New Castle. Get off at the stop closest to Delaware St in New Castle. Walk about 0.5 miles north on Delaware St to reach the museum at 211 Delaware St, New Castle, DE 19720.
