Getting There

  • Driving

    From Bethany Beach, head north on Route 1 for approximately 6 miles. Delaware Seashore State Park South Inlet entrance will be on your left. Parking is available in the South Inlet Day Use Area. From May to September, a daily parking fee is in effect, costing $5 for Delaware residents and $10 for non-residents. An annual pass can be purchased for unlimited access. Parking is free from October to April.

    If you are camping at the South Inlet Campground, the beach and other amenities are within walking distance. Follow the marked paths from the campground to the beach and the Big Chill Beach Club.
