From the intersection of DE-1 and DE-54, head south on DE-1 (Coastal Highway). Fenwick Island State Park will be on your left. Parking is available in the park's lot, but it can fill up quickly during peak season. Parking fees are enforced from May 15 to September 15. Hourly parking costs $3, and daily rates are $25. Consider arriving early to secure a spot, especially on weekends.

DART Route 208 (Light Blue Line) provides seasonal bus service to Fenwick Island State Park. The bus operates every 2 hours from 10 AM to 8 PM, from Memorial Day weekend through the Sunday after Labor Day. Check the DART First State website for the most up-to-date schedule and route information. The nearest bus stop to the park is 'Del Rt 1 @ Fenwick Isld State Park', a short walk from the beach. A one-way fare is approximately $2-4.

If you are staying in Fenwick Island or South Bethany, walking to the park is a viable option. Coastal Highway (DE-1) has sidewalks, but be mindful of traffic. From the center of Fenwick Island, head north on Coastal Highway. The park entrance will be on your left. The walk is approximately 1-2 miles, depending on your starting point.
