If driving, enter 'Wilmington Ave, Middletown, DE 19709' into your GPS. From I-95, take DE-1 S towards Dover, then exit onto DE-299 towards Middletown. Follow DE-299 to Wilmington Ave and turn left. The Fort DuPont Mortar Bunker will be on your right. There is no entry fee to visit the bunker. Parking is available within Fort DuPont State Park.

Public Transport
To reach Fort DuPont Mortar Bunker via public transport, take the DART First State bus route 40 from Wilmington or Dover towards Middletown. Get off at the stop closest to DE-299 and Wilmington Ave. From there, walk northwest on DE-299, then turn left onto Wilmington Ave. The bunker is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is approximately $2.00.
