If you're traveling by car, start from the center of The Delaware Bayshore. Head south on Route 1 for approximately 15 miles. After entering the town of Smyrna, continue on Main Street, which will merge into Route 13. Stay on Route 13 for about 12 miles until you reach the junction with Route 40. Take Route 40 west for about 5 miles, then turn left onto Route 9 South. Follow Route 9 for another 8 miles until you see signs for the Delaware School historic site, which will be located on your right. Please be aware that parking is available, but there may be a small fee, so keep some cash handy.

For those using public transportation, locate the nearest bus station in The Delaware Bayshore. Take the DART First State Bus Route 301 towards Smyrna. The bus ride should take about 30-40 minutes.
