Svaneholmhus, a visitor center on the southernmost tip of Agger Tange, serves as an excellent starting point for exploring Thy National Park. Built with sustainable architecture, it harmonizes with the rugged coastal landscape. Inside, discover a photo exhibition showcasing the area's unique birdlife and learn about the coastal lagoon, beaches, and diverse flora and fauna of Agger Tange. The center provides free Wi-Fi, interactive screens with park information, and hiking leaflets. From the rooftop, enjoy views of seals basking on nearby sandbanks. Open daily from 6:00 AM until the last ferry departs, Svaneholmhus offers restrooms, water refills, and shelter, making it a practical and informative stop for any visitor to the park.

Driving
From the town of Vestervig, head west on Aggervej (Route 181). Continue on Aggervej for approximately 8 km. The road leads directly to Agger Tange and the ferry port. Svaneholmhus is located at the ferry port on the southernmost tip of Agger Tange. Parking is available near the visitor center.

Public Transport
From Thisted, take bus line 324 towards Agger. The bus stops in Vestervig. From Vestervig, you can take another bus towards Agger or take a taxi to Svaneholmhus. Alternatively, from the Agger bus stop, it is approximately 8km and you can bike or walk to Svaneholmhus. A single bus fare from Thisted to Vestervig costs approximately 24 DKK. A taxi from Vestervig to Svaneholmhus will cost approximately 150-200 DKK.

Ferry
If arriving from Thyborøn, take the ferry to Agger. Svaneholmhus is located directly at the ferry landing point on Agger Tange. The ferry crossing costs 45 DKK for pedestrians and cyclists, 195 DKK for cars (prices may vary depending on the season and vehicle size).
