Car
If you're traveling by car within Cibao Valley, start your journey from Santiago de los Caballeros. Head north on the Autopista Duarte (DR-1) towards Puerto Plata. After approximately 25 kilometers, take exit 9 onto the DR-5 towards Imbert. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you see signs for the Damajagua Waterfalls. The entrance is located along Cam. de Damajagua, which is well-marked. Look for the parking area where you can leave your vehicle.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a 'carro público' (shared taxi) from Santiago de los Caballeros to Imbert. You can find these at various points in the city, especially near the main bus terminal. Once in Imbert, you can take another 'carro público' to the entrance of Damajagua Waterfalls, which is located on Cam. de Damajagua. Ensure you tell the driver your destination. The total travel time should be around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
