  If you are driving from Santiago de los Caballeros, take the Autopista Duarte (Highway 1) heading north. Continue on this route for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the exit for Puerto Plata. Follow the signs for Puerto Plata, which will lead you onto the main road, Avenida 27 de Febrero. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers, and you will enter Puerto Plata. Look for the signs directing you to the city center (Q7RW+GM7, Puerto Plata 57000). Be aware of tolls on the highway, which typically cost around 100-200 Dominican Pesos.

The fare from Sosúa to Puerto Plata typically ranges from 700 to 1,000 Dominican Pesos depending on traffic and exact destination. Ensure you negotiate the fare or confirm the estimated cost via the app before starting your journey.
