If you are driving from any location within Sierra de Bahoruco, head towards the main road leading out of the national park. Follow the signs for the town of Neiba. Once you reach Neiba, continue on the main highway until you hit the intersection for the coastal road. Turn right towards San Rafael Beach. The beach is approximately a 30-minute drive from Neiba. Keep an eye out for local signs directing you to the beach area.

From Sierra de Bahoruco, you can catch a guagua (shared minibus) to Neiba. These guaguas leave regularly and can be found at designated stops in Sierra de Bahoruco. The fare is generally around 50 DOP (Dominican Pesos). Once you arrive in Neiba, transfer to another guagua heading to the coast. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to San Rafael Beach. The journey from Sierra de Bahoruco to the beach will take about 1.5 to 2 hours total, depending on connections.
