If you are driving from the Central Sierra region, take the E28 highway towards Mindo. After approximately 1.5 hours, you will reach the town of Mindo. Once in Mindo, follow the signs for 'Mariposario' (Butterfly Garden) and continue on Vía al Mariposario for about 2 kilometers.
