If you are driving from the Central Sierra region, take the E28 highway towards Mindo. After approximately 1.5 hours, you will reach the town of Mindo. Once in Mindo, follow the signs for 'Mariposario' (Butterfly Garden) and continue on Vía al Mariposario for about 2 kilometers. Hosteria La Roulotte will be on your left side at Vía al Mariposario km 2. Make sure to watch for the sign as you approach the entrance.

If you prefer to walk, follow the directions to Vía al Mariposario and walk for about 25 minutes until you reach km 2.
