From the entrance of Cotopaxi National Park, head towards the main road (E28) and continue to follow the signs for Quito. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit toward Papallacta (E28A). Continue on this road for about 18 kilometers. You will see signs for Mirador 1 Papallacta. Keep an eye out for the JR9V+444 marker; the mirador is situated just off the road. Parking is available nearby.
