Walking
From the center of Mindo, head towards the main road that leads out of town, known as Vía a Mindo. As you walk along this road, you will pass a few local shops and cafes. Keep walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach a sign for Mindo Lago on your left. The entrance will be marked, and you will see the facility from the road.
Bicycle
If you prefer to rent a bicycle, you can find rental shops in the center of Mindo. Once you have your bike, ride towards Vía a Mindo. The route is mostly flat, and you should enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. After about 10-15 minutes of cycling, look for the Mindo Lago sign on your left. The entrance will be clearly visible.
Local Transport (Tuk-tuk)
You can easily find a tuk-tuk in the center of Mindo. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Mindo Lago. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of Mindo Lago, which is located on Vía a Mindo.
