    From the center of Mekele, head south on Abreha Atsebha Street towards the airport road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Aksum Road. Turn left onto Aksum Road and walk for another 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Abraha Atsbeha Monastery. The monastery is located on your right at RGWP+VPR. It should take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach on foot.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Mekele Market and head south on Abreha Atsebha Street. Keep cycling straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Aksum Road. Turn left onto Aksum Road and continue cycling for about 2 kilometers. Follow the signs for Abraha Atsbeha Monastery, which will be on your right at RGWP+VPR. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your speed.
