Walking
From the center of Mekele, head west on Aregawi Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Hiwot Street. Turn left onto Hiwot Street and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the Gedam Mikeal Emba Church. After reaching the intersection with Aicamessal Road, turn right. Continue for about 500 meters, and you will see the church on your left side, marked by its distinct architecture.

Public Transport (Bus)
Take a local minibus from the main bus station in Mekele heading towards Aicamessal. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they stop near Gedam Mikeal Emba Church. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop, which is within walking distance of the church. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the church, following the road signs.

If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in downtown Mekele. Start your journey by cycling along Aregawi Street heading west for about 1.5 kilometers. Then, turn left onto Hiwot Street and cycle for another kilometer. After the intersection with Aicamessal Road, make a right turn. Gedam Mikeal Emba Church will be visible on your left side after cycling for about 500 meters.
