Getting There

  • Driving

    From Vágar Airport, drive west on Route 22 towards Sørvágur. In Sørvágur, follow signs for Bøur and Gásadalur on Route 45. Continue through the Gásadalstunnilin tunnel. After exiting the tunnel, the parking area for Múlafossur Waterfall is the first pullout on the left. From the parking area, a paved path leads to the viewpoint. The Vágatunnilin tunnel toll is 100 DKK.

  • Public Transport

    From Tórshavn or Vágar Airport, take bus route 300 to Sørvágur. Transfer to bus route 350 to Gásadalur. The bus will drop you off in Gásadalur village. From there, it is a short walk to the Múlafossur Waterfall viewpoint. A multi-day travel card for buses and ferries (excluding Mykines) costs 500 DKK for four days.

  • Walking

    From the center of Gásadalur village, walk towards the western end of the village. Follow the signs to Múlafossur Waterfall. The walk is about 15-20 minutes. The path is well-marked and offers stunning views.
