Walking
The memorial is located in the Hatsala district and is easily accessible on foot from Kuopio city center. From the Kuopio Market Square, walk east along Kauppakatu, then turn left onto Suokatu. Continue on Suokatu; the memorial will be on your right, next to the Tanssiteatteri Sotku, within the old barracks area. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking.
