Start at the Jacksonville city center and head to the bus stop at 'Jacksonville Central Bus Station'. Take the bus route 1 (North Main Street) towards 'Kings Road'. You will ride for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Fort Caroline Rd & Cedar Point Rd' stop. From there, walk northeast on Fort Caroline Rd for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve at 12713 Ft Caroline Rd.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from any of the local bike rental shops in downtown Jacksonville. Head north on Main Street towards the St. Johns River, then follow the riverbank to the 'Riverwalk'.
