    If you are driving from downtown Jacksonville, take I-95 North. Continue on I-95 N for about 20 miles. Take exit 366A for FL-9A N toward Jacksonville Beach. Merge onto FL-9A N and follow it for around 8 miles. Take the exit toward Heckscher Drive/FL-105 N. Continue on Heckscher Drive for about 5 miles. Turn right onto Fort George Road, and after about 1 mile, you will see the entrance to Fort George Island Cultural State Park on your left at 12241 Fort George Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32226.

    To reach Fort George Island Cultural State Park via public transportation, start by taking the Jacksonville Transit Authority (JTA) bus service.
