If you are starting from the Avignon Central Train Station (Gare d'Avignon Centre), exit the station and head northeast on Rue de la République. Continue walking straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the Place de l'Horloge. From there, turn left onto Rue Joseph Vernet. Follow this street until you reach the Palais des Papes. Once at the Palais des Papes, continue walking along Rue des Teinturiers. After about 500 meters, turn right onto Rue Saint-Etienne. The Vestiges du forum romain will be on your right at 14 Rue Saint-Etienne.

From Avignon Central Train Station (Gare d'Avignon Centre), take bus line 1 (direction Les Angles) from the bus stop located right outside the station. Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Place de l'Horloge'. From there, walk towards Rue Joseph Vernet and continue as follows: turn left onto Rue Joseph Vernet, then walk straight to reach the Palais des Papes. After visiting the Palais, proceed along Rue des Teinturiers, then turn right onto Rue Saint-Etienne. The Vestiges du forum romain will be at 14 Rue Saint-Etienne, just a short walk from the Palais.
