Getting There

Walking
From the Palace of Versailles, exit the main gates and head towards Avenue de Paris. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Versailles Rive Gauche train station. Take the train to Paris. Once you arrive at the Saint-Michel Notre-Dame station, transfer to Metro Line 4. Travel towards Porte de Clignancourt and get off at the next stop, which is Châtelet. After exiting the station, follow the signs to the RER A train line and take the train towards Boissy-Saint-Léger. Get off at the Saint-Germain-des-Prés station. From there, walk towards Rue de Buci and continue straight until you reach the Seine River. The Place du Pont Neuf is located at the western end of the Île de la Cité, right by the bridge.

Bus
Starting at the Palace of Versailles, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the main entrance. Take bus line 171 towards 'Gare de Versailles Rive Droite'. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Rive Droite' train station. From there, take the train to Paris Saint-Lazare station. Once you arrive, follow signs for the Metro and take Line 14 towards Olympiades. Get off at the Châtelet station. From Châtelet, it is a short 5-minute walk to the Place du Pont Neuf. Head towards the Seine River, and you will find the bridge and square.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in Versailles. Start at the Palace of Versailles and head towards Avenue de Paris. Cycle along this road, following the signs for Paris. It will take approximately 30 minutes to reach the center of Paris. Once you arrive in the city, navigate towards the Seine River. You can use a map on your phone to guide you to the Place du Pont Neuf, which is located at the end of the bridge.
