    From Papeete, take the bus towards Hitiaa O Te Ra. Buses depart approximately every three hours. Ask the driver to drop you off at Arahoho Blowhole (Trou du Souffleur). The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and 3 minutes. From the bus stop, the blowhole is a short walk. Bus fare is approximately XPF 651.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available in Papeete. A taxi ride from Papeete to Arahoho Blowhole takes approximately 34 minutes. Taxi fare will be calculated using a taximeter. The initial fee is XPF 1,000, with an additional charge per kilometer. The estimated taxi fare is XPF 46,00 during the daytime and XPF 69,00 during nighttime. There may be extra charge for luggage.

    From Papeete, drive east along the coastal road (Route de Ceinture) towards Hitiaa O Te Ra. The drive takes approximately 34 minutes. The Arahoho Blowhole (Trou du Souffleur) is located at PK22, just before Tiarei. Look for signs indicating the blowhole. There is a small parking lot available. Parking is free.
