Car
From Gudauri, head south on the main road (E117) towards Tbilisi. After about 10 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the turnoff for Truso Gorge. Take the left turn onto the gravel road. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers. The road will wind through stunning landscapes, and you will eventually arrive at the entrance of Truso Gorge. Be mindful of your speed, as the road may have potholes. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain.

Public Transportation
To reach Truso Gorge via public transportation, start by taking a marshrutka (minibus) from Gudauri to Tbilisi. The marshrutkas leave from the main road in Gudauri. Once in Tbilisi, head to the Didube bus station and look for a marshrutka heading towards Kazbegi. Inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at the Truso Gorge turnoff. This will typically cost around 10 GEL. From the turnoff, you will need to walk approximately 5 kilometers on foot to reach the gorge. Prepare for a scenic but rugged hike.

Hiking
If you're already at the turnoff for Truso Gorge, you can hike directly into the gorge. The trail starts just off the gravel road. It is a well-marked path, but be sure to wear appropriate hiking boots and bring water and snacks. The hike into Truso Gorge offers breathtaking views and takes about 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Always check the weather beforehand and plan to return before dark.
