To reach Shatili using public transportation, take a marshrutka (shared minibus) from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Stepantsminda, you need to hire a taxi or find a local driver who can take you to Shatili. The taxi ride from Stepantsminda to Shatili costs around 50-70 GEL and takes about 30 minutes. Always agree on the fare before starting your journey.
