Getting There

• Public Transport

  To reach Strandbad Tegeler See, start by taking the U-Bahn (subway) line U6 from any central station like Friedrichstraße or Alexanderplatz towards Alt-Tegel. After about 20 minutes, disembark at the Alt-Tegel station. From there, transfer to bus line 124, which you can catch from the bus stop right outside the station. Stay on the bus for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the stop called 'Schwarzer Weg'. This stop is a short walk away from Strandbad Tegeler See, which is located at Schwarzer Weg 95. Follow Schwarzer Weg directly to the lake, and you will find the entrance to the beach area.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great way to reach Strandbad Tegeler See. You can rent a bike from various rental shops throughout Berlin. Head towards the northern part of the city, following the signs toward Tegel. Use the bike paths along the Panke river or take the scenic route through the parks. The ride may take around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your starting point. Once you reach the area of Tegel, follow the signs to Schwarzer Weg, and you will arrive at the beach area.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Tegel area and prefer to walk, simply make your way to the Alt-Tegel U-Bahn station. From there, it is about a 30-minute walk to Strandbad Tegeler See. Head northwest on Alt-Tegel towards Tegeler See. Continue on the road that runs alongside the lake, which will lead you directly to Schwarzer Weg. Once you reach Schwarzer Weg, follow it until you find the entrance to the beach.
