Monbijoupark: Berlin's Urban Oasis

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Brandenburg, head towards the A10 Autobahn. Take the exit for A114 towards Berlin. Continue on A114 until you reach the junction with A100, where you will follow signs for the city center (Mitte). Once in the city, take the exit towards Oranienburger Str. and follow the road until you reach Monbijoupark at Oranienburger Str., 10178 Berlin. Parking can be found in nearby parking garages, which may have fees ranging from €2 to €3 per hour.

• Train

  From any location in Brandenburg, make your way to the nearest train station. Use the regional trains (RE or S-Bahn) to reach Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). From Berlin Hauptbahnhof, take the S-Bahn S3, S5, S7, or S9 towards the S-Bahn station Oranienburger Tor. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Monbijoupark, located at Oranienburger Str., 10178 Berlin. Train tickets will cost around €3.20 for a single journey.

• Bus

  If you prefer bus transportation, check for local bus services that head towards Berlin. You may need to transfer to a bus that goes to the nearest metro or S-Bahn station that connects to Berlin's public transportation system. Once in Berlin, take bus line 142 or the M1 tram to get off at Oranienburger Str. From there, it's a short walk to Monbijoupark. Bus tickets usually cost around €2.80.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, cycling from Brandenburg to Berlin is a viable option. There are designated bike paths that lead from Brandenburg into Berlin. Follow the paths towards the city center, and once in Berlin, navigate towards Oranienburger Str. to reach Monbijoupark. Ensure you have a bike lock, as you will need to secure your bicycle when you arrive. This option is free, aside from the cost of renting a bike if needed.
