If you're starting from Essen's main train station (Essen Hauptbahnhof), head to the subway station located directly beneath the train station. Take the U11 line towards 'Marlies' for about 4 stops. Get off at 'Alfredusstraße' station. Once you exit the station, turn left onto Alfredusstraße, then take the first right onto Gladbecker Str. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters, and you will find the Wandgemälde on your right.

Continue walking straight for approximately 1.2 kilometers. The Wandgemälde will be located on your right side, just before the intersection with Alfredusstraße.

From the Essen main train station, head to the bus terminal outside the station. Take bus line 145 towards 'Essen Steele' and get off at the 'Gladbecker Str./Kaiserstraße' stop.
