Walking
If you are in the center of Heidelberg, head towards the Hauptstraße, which is the main pedestrian street. Walk along the Hauptstraße in the direction of the Old Bridge (Alte Brücke). After about 10 minutes, you will notice the Kornmarkt square on your left. The Muttergottesbrunnen is located in the center of this square, directly across from the Church of the Holy Spirit (Heiliggeistkirche). If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch tram line 5 or 24 from any stop in Heidelberg to the 'Bismarckplatz' stop.
