Walking
If you are starting from Heidelberg's main train station (Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and follow the signs toward Bismarckplatz. Walk straight down the street until you reach the square. From Bismarckplatz, take the street called 'Hauptstraße' which is the main shopping street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 'Plöck'. Here, turn left onto 'Plöck'. Follow 'Plöck' as it becomes 'Kaiserstraße' and continue walking uphill. You will soon see the path that leads to the Philosophenweg (Philosophers' Way) on your right, marked by signs.
